About and operator
TranscriptJet is a free-beta service operated by an independent developer under the TranscriptJet name. It attempts to retrieve available native captions from public YouTube, TikTok, and Instagram video URLs.
Acceptance
By accessing or using TranscriptJet, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the service.
The service
Users submit public video URLs. TranscriptJet attempts to retrieve available native captions; availability is not guaranteed. Visible text does not prove a retrievable caption track. Audio transcription is not started automatically. Third-party platform terms still apply, and TranscriptJet obtains no ownership of the source video or its content. The current Free Beta has no public API or public transcript archive.
Accounts and usage
Guests can submit one accepted native request per rolling 24 hours; signed-in users can submit five per rolling 30 days. A guest task can be claimed after sign-in in the same browser. You are responsible for the security of your account and session, submitted URLs, and having the rights and lawful basis to process their captions. Abuse controls may restrict misuse. Accepted requests count against these limits even when captions are unavailable or the result requires review.
Free Beta and billing
TranscriptJet currently operates as a Free Beta. There is no paid plan, subscription, checkout, or payment collected.

Availability and disclaimers
TranscriptJet is provided on an "as available" basis. Caption availability, completeness, timing, and accuracy can vary by source and third-party platform. The service may be changed, suspended, or interrupted. To the extent permitted by applicable law, TranscriptJet does not make warranties that every submitted video will produce a transcript or that the service will be uninterrupted or error-free. Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits rights or liabilities that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited.
Prohibited uses
Do not use the service for unlawful content or activity; submit private or non-public content without the necessary rights; infringe others' rights; bypass quotas, security, or access controls; interfere with the service; or use automated bulk activity that abuses the normal product workflow.
Limits and suspension
TranscriptJet may limit or suspend access when reasonably necessary to address abuse, security risk, legal requirements, third-party platform restrictions, or provider availability. You may delete transcript results from your workspace or history and contact support for broader account closure requests.
Changes to these terms
We may update these Terms as the service changes. The current version and effective date will be posted here. Continued use after an update means the updated Terms apply from their stated effective date, subject to any notice or consent required by applicable law.
